Florida shooting: Republican politicians sending 'thoughts and prayers' tweets condemned for accepting NRA money

Republican politicians who accepted millions in campaign funds from America’s most powerful pro-gun group have been condemned after posting messages of condolences over the Florida high school shooting. At least 17 people were killed and 14 injured after a gunman opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle on Wednesday afternoon at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. It is one of the deadliest school shootings in US history.
