Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron could not keep their hands off each other during the French president’s US state visit. Mr Macron is spending three days as Mr Trump’s guest in Washington, and the trip has been peppered with macho power plays involving handshakes, hand-holding, hugs and kisses. During the visit the two presidents put on a display of friendliness that included Mr Trump wiping what he described as a “piece of dandruff” from Mr Macron’s suit jacket.
