California surfer survives shark attack

A surfer suffered leg bites but survived a shark attack on California's Central Coast after kicking the massive fish away. The Tribune of San Luis Obispo reports Nick Wapner was bitten on Tuesday morning about 200 miles northwest of Los Angeles. (Jan. 10)
