William Barr: Who is the attorney general Mueller just gave his report to?

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 election — and his findings on whether Donald Trump’s presidential campaign committed wrongdoings to secure the Oval Office — is now officially in the hands of Attorney General William Barr. Mr Barr, who was confirmed earlier this year after being appointed to lead the Justice Department under Mr Trump, stopped short of vowing to release the full findings of the special counsel during his Congressional hearings. On Friday, Mr Barr released a statement to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees confirming he received the report.
