Brazil vice president says Guaido's attempted uprising not a good idea

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido's attempt to oust Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro was not the best decision and likely premature, Brazil's Vice President Hamilton Mourao told reporters on Thursday. Mourao, a retired army general, said in a radio interview that he thinks there are cracks emerging in the lower ranks of the Venezuelan armed forces, but not among the commanders that Guaido had hoped would abandon Maduro and join the opposition. "We don't see light at the end of the tunnel for Venezuela," he said on Radio Gaucha.
